Google declared that it will not dangerous for the users to clicking on a Web address ending with .zip as it has been placed at the top of a list of “cloudy Web neighbourhoods”. As Google owns the TLD (top-level domain) .zip challenged the study after it was published recently. “.Zip domain” is one of the 1000 new TLD’S that have sheared up in the past two years, since a liberalization of Web addresses, adding to the intimate .com, .gov and .org.This week, the enterprise security company Blue Coat published the study and displayed the dangers of the detonation in domains and said that some of them could fraud users to download malware or lead to other troublesome results. It said before .review, .country and .kim, .zip was the most alarming new TLD. But, Blue Coat said .zip only appeared at the top of its list because 100% of Web requests using that TLD do not go to a legitimate website, since there are not yet any domains ending in .zip. Blue Coat said that, “.zip is also the name of a type of file extension and it could be a sign that a device is performing a task the user is unaware of it, if .zip appeared in the address line of a Web browser”.

Blue Coat’s chief technology officer Hugh Thompson told that, “We have nothing against Google and we don’t mean to involve that they are running a shady operation. This is just all about the unforeseen consequences of having .zip as a TLD” .
