Salman Khan: My dad didn’t help me when I was starting out?Salman Khan, who helps many star kids to start their career, says that his father never suggested his name to filmmakers. In an interview, Salman said that when he was growing up, his father Salim Khan would recommend Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt and Kumar Gaurav’s name to the filmmakers, but never recommended his name. So when he had asked his father about the same, Salim said that the producers and the directors should see something in Salman and give him work. The actor said that he had to go out and ask for work.

Salman Khan ‘doesn’t think’ Madhuri was paid more in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun?

Salman Khan says that he wasn’t paid lesser than his co-star Madhuri Dixit, as suggested by veteran actor Anupam Kher. The Baby actor replied saying, “I agree in certain cases it is true. But Madhuri was paid more than Salman in HAHK.” When asked about the actor’s statement, at a press interaction in Mumbai, Salman initially claimed that he wasn’t aware of it, but later replied, “I don’t think it is true.”
