On Thursday,  the Bombay high court absolved the Bollywood
actor Salman Khan of all criminal charges of Hit-and-Run case that in May, the
actor had been held guilty by a trial court.

Little over 13 years after
Salman’s late night drive home turned disastrous for a labourer sleeping on pavement
in Bandra. The prosecution had not well-established the case against Salman
Khan beyond an acceptable doubt as is required under the criminal law, Bombay
high court consummated, as it resulted that there are many “unexplained
and anomalies” in the evidence.
Salman had filed an appeal in
the High Court against the May 6 conviction by the Mumbai sessions court. And on
that same day, the Bombay High Court granted him bail and Salman, who’s out on
bail, was called for the pronouncement to court.
This Thursday, the actor who
is currently busy in the shooting for the upcoming film “Sultan” appeared in the
court before Justice A R Joshi who concluded and decided the judgment on the
appeal. Salman’s sister Alvira was in court too.

The High Court had begun the
judgment dictation on Monday, about 7 months after the guilty answer and harsh
sentence had left Salman stunned.
The case was one where a
labourer died and also the other four people were badly injured when Salman’s
four-wheeled Land Cruiser run into a laundry and bakery in September 28, 2002 in
Bandra.
