Maruti Suzuki had launched the Ciaz
sedan back in 2014 and very soon it became the second bestselling car among the
sedans with a huge demand from the car lovers of India.
The Ciaz comes with elegant looks with a
trapezoidal radiator grille in the front with a lot of chrome along with
projector head lights however the front end looks somewhat aggressive. The swept back head lamps and its elongated hood give it a
typical aerodynamically improved look. Dimensionally, the
Ciaz measures 4490 mm in length, 1730 mm in width and 1485 mm in height with a
ground clearance of 170 mm. It comes with a wheel base of 2650 mm. The Maruti
Suzuki Ciaz is available in petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol
version is powered by a 1.4 litre engine with 4 cylinders with VVT technology
and is capable of producing 91.1 bhp of peak output and 130Nm of max torque. It
offers a mileage of 20.73 kmpl for the manual 5 speed transmission system. There
is also a 4 speed automatic petrol model of the Ciaz which delivers 19.12 kmpl
of mileage. The diesel model comes with 1248 cc engine that produces 88.5 bhp
output with 200 Nm of peak torque and comes coupled with a 5 speed manual
transmission system. It is said to offer 28.09 kmpl of mileage. Maruti Suzuki

The Mahindra Verito
offers great value for money since it packs in a lot at a very low cost. The
Verito has climbed upmarket gradually, while still retaining its reasonable
price tag. Mahindra has now taken the Verito one step ahead with a fully
electric variant.
In terms of looks, the
Verito comes with head lamps with incorporated styling elements while the
radiator grille is touched with chrome. The boxy sedan look from the original
version has been retained along with the flared wheel arches. The tail lamps
now have light guides along with a further touch of chrome on the boot lid.
This car offers great leg space, a smartly styled central console and power
windows on the driver’s door. The ride experience of the car is plush and does
not affect the control around bends. The top model gets ABS and a driver airbag
as safety features. The Verito is powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine. The
1461 cc turbocharged diesel engine produces 65bhp of output and 160Nm of max
torque and is coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra has also
launched the e-Verito, which is an entirely electric powered vehicle. The
e-Verito gets a (30.5kW) and 41bhp electric engine driving the front wheels and
is capable of attaining a top speed of 86kmph while it runs 100kms on full
charge.
